Roaring Media based in Aspen, Colorado has been in business since the fall of 2001. Operating originally in the core of Aspen at 303 East Hyman with offices now located in the Aspen Airport Business Center.

Roaring Media specializes in on line marketing, strategy, design and development. Working in five main market types including: smaller static html web sites, larger CMS (Content Management System) managed web sites, E-Commerce web sites, Real Estate web sites, Community Portal and custom online software development.

Principles

Owner – Lead Designer – Jerry Willis
BS Digital Design

Jerry Willis graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Design. This program was one of two schools in the nation accredited to give a degree in Digital Design at the time of his graduation in 1999. The program was unique in preparing individuals for the emerging fields of website and CD-Rom design and development. A combination of a graphic design, user interactivity study, 2-d and 3-d animation and basic programming languages. The culmination of this curriculum is a designer that can think like and communicate with programmers, and who understands user interactivity. This was a 5 year program with 2 quarters of study and 2 quarters of co-op each year. Co-op starting in the sophomore year. The experienced gained from these internships were innumerable working in fields ranging from: illustration, animation, design, flash action script programming and more.

Jerry Willis was hired and brought to Aspen, Co immediately upon graduation in 1999 by Imaginon Digital Productions. Imaginon DP was bought and closed by a California company in the fall of that same year. Aspen Interactive Media (owner of the community web portal Aspen.com) hired Mr. Willis the same day the news was announced of Imaginon being closed. Mr. Willis worked in designing the community web portal Aspen.com and commercial web sites for Aspen Interactive Media and owner Ed Bastian until AIM was bought and closed by Swift Communications. Mr. Willis immediately opened the doors of Roaring Media, in business now for over eight years.

Lead Developer – Jigar Shah
M.B.A. (IT)

Jigar has headed web and application development at Roaring Media since May of 2007. He was Principle consultant at Gateway Technolabs (India) for the European division unttill 2006 when he migrated to the USA.

He has successfully managed development of 34 web based client server application involving scoping, designing and implementing various complex technical solutions in the fields of Financial, Insurance, Banking and e-commerce sectors. On the technology side, he has successfully implemented projects on environments such as Microsoft.NET Framework, ColdFusion MX and Microsoft VC++ 6.0. His core expertise is in open source technology, with a complete understanding of PHP, ASP.NET, C++ and WEP technologies.

Jigar holds Bachelor in Science and Masters in Information Technology in year 2002 from Schiller International UK.
